Many of my revision patients report not only losing the weight they’d hoped to lose, but other improvements to their wellbeing. I see it all the time in the operating room. The truth is that some bariatric surgery, as well as some surgeons, don’t do your body any favors. If you’re truly a candidate for a band-to-VSG procedure, you’re probably in for an overall boost to your health. It might improve more than just your weight It’s likely that you’re simply eating too much of the wrong things.
